Our 2016 Listening Tour began last week, with the first stop taking place on June 1 in Bellevue. Here’s what WSBA member Michael Cherry, who went to the Bellevue event, had to say about his experience.
“I attended the WSBA Listening Tour on June 1, in Bellevue Washington. There were about 25 attendees and a broad range of topics including the role of sections, small firms, ethics, and the role of the bar in the changing legal and customer-focused world were discussed. While it was an excellent opportunity to meet with a variety of different lawyers (based on length of tenure with the Bar, practice area, and firm size), what impressed me the most was it actually was a listening tour.
“Thanks to the Bar leadership — in particular, WSBA President Bill Hyslop and Executive Director Paula Littlewood — for truly providing a forum which lived up to its title and stated purpose.”
The Listening Tour continues June 6–8, 2016, and you’re invited to attend! See where the tour is headed and RSVP to join them at a stop near you.
