On Jan. 27, 2016, after months of construction and remodeling, we were finally ready to show off the results of our office renovation and new conference center. We’ve reduced our footprint, gained significant savings over the life of our lease, and maximized our office space to make it more accommodating for meetings, CLE seminars and everyday operations.
At our renovation open house celebration, WSBA staff and members of the Board of Governors greeted WSBA members and the public. WSBA President Bill Hyslop said a few words and performed the official ribbon-cutting, and staff led group tours of the offices, meeting rooms, and conference center. Also in attendance was artist Mike Tollesen, whose painting “Leaving the Past Behind” is featured on our main floor.
If you couldn’t make it to the celebration, take a look at these photos. And don’t forget to drop by the WSBA offices for a visit next time you’re in downtown Seattle. We can’t promise there will be cake, but we’ll happily show you around.
