- King County’s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration takes place on Jan. 14 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle.
- The MLK Seattle Celebration includes workshops, a march, and a rally on Jan. 18.
- The City of Tacoma will hold the 28th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration on Jan. 18 at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.
- In Spokane, the Martin Luther King Jr. Family Outreach Center will hold a unity rally, march, and resource fair at the Spokane Convention Center on Jan. 18.
- At Washington State University, the 29th Annual Martin Luther King Community Celebration will take place on Jan. 28.
