Please note: Our service provider will charge you a separate, non-refundable transaction fee of 2.5 percent on all bank card transactions. There is no transaction fee if you renew online and mail in your check.

If you are experiencing financial challenges, you may qualify for our payment plan option or our one-time hardship exemption.
Optional donations
The license renewal includes two optional charitable donations. Donations to the Washington State Bar Foundation help advance justice through support of WSBA’s public service and diversity programs. Donations to LAW Fund’s annual Campaign for Equal Justice strengthen Washington’s civil legal aid network by supporting over 20 organizations statewide. We thank you for your help and generosity.
MCLE compliance
Group 3, 2013-2015 members are due to complete CLE credits and certify MCLE compliance. Note: New MCLE rules go into effect on Jan. 1, 2016. The 2013-2015 reporting group will need to meet current MCLE requirements. The 2014-2016 reporting group will be the first group affected by the new MCLE rules. Learn more.
Important dates
- Dec. 1, 2015: Enrollment deadline for optional payment plan.
- Dec. 31, 2015: Group 3 (2013–2015) members must complete required MCLE credits.
- Feb. 1, 2016: Request deadline for optional Hardship Exemption.
- Feb. 1, 2016: License renewal, payment and Group 3 MCLE C2 certification must be completed online, postmarked or delivered to WSBA. Note: Active members must certify the Professional Liability Insurance Disclosure and the Trust Account information annually.
